International design competition for all!

Dear School Management,
In just a few months, the next year of Zlin Design Week will begin — a week-long design festival that creates a space for young designers to meet, get inspired and start new collaborations. But your students can be part of it now! From 5.12. In 2022, we launched registration for the international competition Best in Design 2023, which runs until February 28, 2023.
Best in Design gives young designers a chance to showcase their talent, receive financial support of up to €1,500, as well as feedback from industry professionals, and the opportunity to compare themselves with other designers and gain new experience. In the past years, Jakub Spurný from Studio Najbrt with his project VIRUS, Milan Flíček from OUR SHIFT with his collection Stop f’uck-King burning clothes, and the duo Karla Godenková & Karolína Matušková with their project Listovatel have celebrated success.
It makes sense to enter Best in Design, and we would be very happy if you could send out information about the competition to your students so that they can take advantage of an opportunity that could take them a step further in their field.
As a thank you for sending out the text below to your students, we would like to offer you a tailored accompanying program in the form of a workshop, guided tour, or discussion. do you want to show the world what you’ve got and make your work visible? Then do something for it!!! The application process for the next year of the international competition Best in Design, which takes place under the auspices of Zlin Design Week, is now open. So fill in the application form and take your first step to kick-start your career.
Best in Design is a competition that gives young designers like you a chance to showcase your talent, get feedback, meet other designers from different parts of the world, establish new collaborations and, last but not least, get financial support for your work.
How much money are we talking about?! The financial reward in each category ranges from 200 € to 500 €. However, the best of the best across the categories will take home €1,000 in addition to the €500 for 1st place in their category.
There are four categories:

Fashion Design – clothing design, textile design, footwear and haberdashery design, jewelry design, and more.
*
Communication Design – graphic design and illustration, new media, visual communication and intermedia, web animation, and more
*
Product & Industrial Design – product design, interior and furniture design, tool and equipment design, and more
*
Service Design – complex design of processes, technologies and interactions that drive service delivery, and more.
You will also get feedback and support from media representatives!
So, do you want to be the Best in Design?
The terms of the competition are simple:

The age limit for competitors is 30 years,
*
the work you have chosen to enter with must be no more than two years old,
*
there is no limit to the number of entries you can submit,
*
both individuals and artist collectives can enter,
*
entry is FREE.
