zum neunten Mal vergibt der Bodenseekreis 2026 seinen *Förderpreis für gegenständliche Malerei und Zeichnung*.
*Über eine rege Teilnahme an dieser Ausschreibung würden wir unssehr freuen und bitten Sie daher, den Wettbewerb bekannt zu machen.*

*Hier die wichtigsten Punkte:***
·In einem Wettbewerb werden von einer Fach-Jury die ca.*30 Teilnehmerinnen und die Teilnehmer einer Ausstellung* ermittelt.
·Die Jury wählt auch die Preisträgerin/den Preisträger. Das *Preisgeld *beträgt *4.000 Euro*. Der Preis kann geteilt werden (Malerei/Zeichnung). Der Jury-Preis ist mit einer Ausstellung im Folgejahr in der Städtischen Galerie Fähnle in Überlingen verbunden.
·Die *Förderpreis-Ausstellung *findet in der *Galerie Bodenseekreis **in Meersburg *statt (27. März bis 3. Juli 2026). Zur Ausstellung erscheint ein Katalog.
·Das Publikum der Ausstellung kann seinen eigenen Favoriten wählen. Der *Publikumspreis* beträgt *1.000 Euro*.

Once again, we return to Iassy this year to celebrate our 12th edition in style – October 23rd to November 10th.
2025 edition represents a fine mix between physical and online events.

The International Student Animated Film Festival Animafantasia is a vocal advocate for young filmmakers who push the boundaries of their work to the fullest range of expression that the medium is capable of.
As usual, the main purpose of this festival is to present a highly selective showcase of the best new works of animation from around the world.
Our mission is to cultivate and promote the art and science of animated film through education and cross-cultural awareness. We strive for a world in which enlightenment, knowledge, and tolerance prevail. We believe in animation, as an art form, has the power to bridge cultures and illuminate the universality of the human experience.
As to provide a space for young animation creators from all backgrounds to present their work to an appreciative audience and offer an opportunity for their art to be recognized, we include an immersive and secured VIDEO ON DEMAND/STREAMING platform for people from all over the world.

Call for the MAK Winter Atelier 16.–20.2.2026

The MAK invites students and emerging artists living and working in Serbia, Romania, and Austria to apply for participation in an international Winter Atelier on artists’ books with designer Sven Völker. The Atelier will be held as part of the EU project _AbeX Anthologies of Cooperation: Encounters in/through Artists’ Books and Experimental Poetry_ <news.mak.at/d?p000rxmq000ive00d0000i7q000000000c2w4xuwiu3zz2rr250vmf400000nq000000ouw66ly> and will take place within the framework of the exhibition /TURNING PAGES: Artists’ Books of the Present/.
The _MAK Winter Atelier_ <news.mak.at/d?p000rxmi000ive00d0000i7q000000000c2w4xuwiu3zz2rr250vmf400000nq000000gdch0i4> (16.–20.2.2026) offers an intensive five-day workshop on the topic of artists’ books with Sven Völker, a Berlin-based artist, graphic designer, and author.
The Atelier places particular emphasis on the co-creative process. The focus will be on designing prototypes that demonstrate how the book can be used as a medium for sharing ideas, and on making its potential for developing and expressing visions accessible to others as a tool for creative processes. Experimenting with and testing various tools and instruments for image, text, and material design will play an important role. We will therefore develop and evaluate a toolkit for making picture books that can be shared long-term with kids and adults, and which is freely available to all.
The Winter Atelier will culminate in a pop-up exhibition, which participants will co-design as part of the workshop.
*CRITERIA FOR THE CALL* – 20 to 26 years old (at the time of the event) – Students and emerging artists working and living in Serbia, Romania, and Austria – Send us your application until 15 September 2025.
The jury selects nine participants—three from each country— and will announce their decision on 14 October 2025.
