das internationale Kurzfilmfestival VIENNA SHORTS sucht für seine 20. Ausgabe (1. bis 6. Juni 2023) nach neuen Talenten und herausragenden Filmen unter 30 Minuten: Bis 5. Januar 2023 (Nachfrist: 31. Januar) sind Einreichungen aus den Bereichen Spielfilm/Dokumentarfilm (Fiction & Documentary) und Animation/Experimentalfilm (Animation Avantgarde) sowie für österreichische Filme (Österreich Wettbewerb & Österreichischer Musikvideopreis) möglich.

VIENNA SHORTS ist qualifizierendes Festival für die Academy Awards® (Oscars), den Europäischen Filmpreis (EFA), die britischen BAFTA Awards sowie den österreichischen Filmpreis und vergibt jährlich Preisgelder in der Höhe von rund EUR 25.000,–.

Dear students and filmmakers,

the international short film festival VIENNA SHORTS is looking for new talents and outstanding films under 30 minutes for its 20th edition (June 1 to June 6, 2023): Until January 5th, 2023 (extended deadline: January 31st) submissions from the fields of live-action film/short doc (Fiction & Documentary) and animated/experimental film (Animation Avantgarde) as well as for Austrian films (Austrian Competition & Austrian Music Video Award) are possible.

VIENNA SHORTS is a qualifying festival for the Academy Awards® (Oscars), the European Film Awards, the British BAFTA Awards and the Austrian Film Awards and awards prize money of over EUR 25,000.
