Best in Design is a competition that gives young talents like you the chance to showcase their skills, receive feedback from professionals, meet other designers from around the world, make new connections, and, last but not least, receive financial support for their work.
What can you win? Cash prizes in each category range from €200 to €500. However, the best of the best across all categories will receive, on top of the €500 for 1st place in their category, an additional €1,000 and the title of Best in Design 2025!
Designers can compete in four categories:
* Product & Industrial Design – products, interiors, furniture, tools, or devices * Fashion Design – clothing, textile design, footwear, accessories, or jewelry * Communication Design – graphics, illustration, new media, visual communication, intermedia, or web animations * Service Design – complex designs of processes, technologies and interactions that drive provision of services

The jury of STRABAG Artaward International 2025will select a main prize winner (€ 16.000) and four recognition prizes (€ 8.000 each). In addition, art works of the winners might be purchased for the STRABAG Artcollection.
After the award ceremony and the collective exhibition of all the prize-winning works, each of the five laureates will have a solo exhibition at STRABAG Kunstforumin Vienna. The laureates can sign up for the artist-in-residence-program at STRABAG Artstudio in Vienna.

Wettbewerb für Designer:innen!
In just a few months, the 11th edition of _Zlin Design Week <zlindesignweek.com/2025/en/zdw-en/?utm_source=emailing&utm_medium=organic&utm_campaign=skoly_web_eng>_ will kick off – a week-long festival full of innovative design, inspiration, and new collaborations. However, your students can become part of it now! That’s because from December 2, 2024, to February 2, 2025, registration for the international _Best in Design 2025 <zlindesignweek.com/2025/en/best-in-design-en/>_ competition will be open.
Best in Design is a platform that gives young creators a chance not only to showcase their talent and win a financial prize of up to €1,500, but also to receive valuable feedback from the field professionals and to compare their work with other designers from around the world. In previous years, talents such as Jakub Spurný from Studio Najbrt, Václav Černý from STUDIO 3, and Zuzanna Wójcik have placed at the top of the competition.
Registering for Best in Design makes sense, and we would be honored if you could provide your students with the opportunity to participate in the competition and gain valuable experience. By sending the text below to your students, you could possibly open doors to their careers.
